I got it working under linux. And I actually made a very similar game with an 8-directional system instead of a circular one a week ago. This code will be really helpful in improving it.

Did it work? I know one line that wouldn't, but it checks the os for compatibility before running.

Certainly. I just compiled it because people have had problems with my uncompiled programs. If you want it, it is now on the webpage.
