    I don't understand the rule of the game...Z to shoot but what is it the blue circle ? and too many sprites on the screen

    The blue circle is the health you have left. Part of the idea is having lots of sprites on the screen at once; it makes the game feel more rushed, ie dangerous, tense. That's what's up with the flashes to.
