Linux/Unix systems are case sensitive (Windows isn't), and it appears that you (or your IDE) is capitalizing the filename extensions (.PNG and .FON should be .png and .fon). Anyone using this on a non-Windows system will need to edit the source to correct this (until the author releases an update), in the following three files (that I'm aware of so far):

The score area's colors are a bit hard to read, and the window size is small on larger screens (5cm square on my current screen), but it brings back memories! :)

Thats because pygame.font.font() must be pygame.font.Font(), on my computer it is ok written, and ofc you must extract files from zip lib... hmm.. maybe my IDE making problems..

Please try this code on Linux as well

The code has file sensitive filename bug â?? on Linux and almost all unixes, when a file is like â??fon.fonâ??, it should be accessed from the code as â??fon.fonâ?? as well, not â??fon.FONâ?? â?? the best would be if even the code as the filenames are all lowercased, without spaces or any over 7bit ascii character

and after fixing this situation with .fon and .png files, i got this error from terminal:

guest@hw2:~/Downloads/DuckHunterSrc$ python
Traceback (most recent call last):
File â??main.pyâ?, line 27, in
font = pygame.font.font(â??data/font.fonâ??, 14)
AttributeError: â??moduleâ?? object has no attribute â??fontâ??

Good idea, but no. Why no? Because then it would not be one-day project

The game is pretty good, but could use some type of risk.
For example, you could add an UFO, and if you shoot it, he shoots
you with a laser and you lose 50 score.
