My first game in Python and Pygame. You have to help the hero rescue his fish from the evil polar bear! Quite basic and nowhere near finished, but hopefully the nice pictures will stop you from noticing the messy code :-)

Great title screen. Again, however, the control feels a bit off. Trying to change directions quickly makes the dude stop, which can result in death. I'd also recommend a save feature, since in puzzle games you're not that motivated to beat them all from the start once you game over.

Thanks. I was finding key input to be a problem but couldn't find out why. Fixing it now!

Yup just found it. You're calling "event.poll()" twice. That's a pygame no-no. :) You need to have all the event handling in one function. Looking forward to the finished game!

I love the graphic style. However it rarely reads input from the arrow keys, looking into it now.

our projects welcomes all python game, art, music, sound, video and multimedia projects. If they use pygame or not.
