Description

A simple paint program. Requires python 2.5, pygame, and easygui.(Get easygui here: http://easygui.sourceforge.net/) Press M for the menu. Press c to change color, b to change brush, or s to save.

Changes

Expanded save menu a lot, and added multiple file types you can save as. Gave a temporary icon. Included both an exe version and a .py version. Included easygui.py for the .py version. Added a read-me that is opened through the help menu. Now, if you try it exit with unsaved changes, it will ask if you are sure you want to quit. Many various bugfixes.

easygui for python can be found at www.manning.com/sande, go to "resources" and choose the right installer. This installs pygame, easygui, and an awesome python editor (SPE).

I think easygui should be included with the package because of it's obscurity and relatively small filesize.

To find easygui: remember the recent news acticle on a book about python called hello world? they have a link to it on their website under the resources section

When I opened it up and chose to specify my own color, the title was something like "Set the width and height of your image" instead of "Set the color" which I'd expect it should have been. When I filled in 255, 0, and 0 for the colors and pressed ok, it didn't change anything. Choosing colors from the preset list seems to work fine though.

It's pretty cool for a first release. It was a pain in the ass to erase though. You should make holding "v" work for left clicking too. I doodled something in it. It's black and white because I couldn't get the extra color setter thing to work: http://mrbluesky.info/pics/pixelartpic.bmp

It works fine, but there's a few things you should change: ~My computer must be too slow for 'connected pixels', because instead I get a 'line' with big gaps in between pixels ~Save dialog says it's of type 'all files' so I type in cool.png and get a file cool.png.bmp!
