This is a fork of my other project, bloodcurse. The major difference is this game will be focused on fighting monsters (rogue-like), rather than a full role-playing game.


Initial version.
* completed map system.
* started battle sequence - currently when a random encounter occurs a list of fighting monsters is printed to the console output.

To do for next release:
* finish region 1 monster attributes.
* pseudo-randomization using monster's frequency attribute.
* switch from map to battle scene drawing.

I like the state machine, hope you dont mind me and some buddies are using this as a base for our software developing class, youll have to see the final proj when we finish

Thanks for the comment. :) I hope to make this game somewhat playable for the next release. This is only a 1 man team and 2 years of work for practically nothing so far, so don't hold your breath, or you might not be here to play it!

I like the code organization. Love the terrain transitions. Can't wait to see some playable content.

our projects welcomes all python game, art, music, sound, video and multimedia projects. If they use pygame or not.
