Glamour - 1.0
A game for young girls where you try to pick up the best outfit to go to the Ball. It features very nice graphics and beautiful music.
Nelson do Vale Oliveira
(nelsondovale)
You play Maddeline, a young girl on her sweet sixteen, who will walk the whole town looking for the perfect outfit. You will need to avoid getting you look ruined by the dirty dogs and the bad language of the Viking man.
Watch out not to get late. Avoid playing with the butterflies.
The game has some very nice graphics and music. It was made after a board game with the same name.
The whole game was built using Open Source tools:
Plans for next release (1.1) include:- fixing bugs (butterflies not animating, crashes under Windows 7 and 8 when username include special chars)
- language menu (English, Spanish, Portuguese and maybe other language translated within launchpad)
- warning the player before ball arrives
- Player ranking.
- New enemies and more time to get to the ball

I just downloaded the game and I must say that you're doing a pretty good job. IMHO, It's hard to find libre "version 1.0" games. I really appreciate that you dedicate this game to the public domain. If I had the money and knew a person who likes these kinds of games, I'd buy it for her.
The game runs slow in my system, though. Could you please post minimum system requirements for the game? This is what I have:
Game: glamour-0.1_0-1_i386.deb
OS: Debian 7.2
RAM: 1 GB
Processor: Intel® Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz × 2Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Hi Tergrundo! We're really glad you enjoyed.
The game should run smoothly with a 2GHz dual core processor and a 2GB RAM.
The game tries to reach a high resolution (1440x900) and this is one of the causes of the performance issues.
We are willing to improve this in a new version.Would you mind also telling us the screen resolution you are using?
We have been able to run the game with moderate performance in machines similar to yours, running Debian with XFCE, but the performance decreases as the games develops because of the increasing number of enemies on screen.
Thanks again!
